can i just say. im well aware im weird and kinda gatekeepy at times about starset but. they started in salem, ohio which is barely an hour from where i grew up, so i was THERE when the first album dropped and ive been obsessed literally from THE BEGINNING. and watching them grow makes me so emotional. every once in a while i hear a glimmer of that band i discovered when i was like 13 that i was instantly obsessed with
can i also just say i miss the days before music was marketed for spotify. one of my favorite (bandom) related memories is when i first heard monster on the radio and thats how i knew starset was making a new album. like that doesn't happen anymore. i was SHITTING MY PANTS in the car bro
starset is such a big part of my music taste and just my childhood in general. IVE BEEN THAT CHEERLEADER! IVE BEEN THAT HYPE MAN! finally getting to see them live last year (and in such an intimate venue too) was a life changing fucking experience. i love them so much
