So this summer I’m working as a studio assistant for Jason Manley. This is what I’ve been doing all week and what I’ll be doing all next week. We’re building his sculpture for his UMOCA show. It’s made out of pallet wood and it’s going to be awesome! My life is pretty damn sweet because all I do is make art and play snes games when I’m too tired to keep making art. Well the Ogden arts fest was a party! On Friday we hung out with a bunch of talented future printmakers and helped them make there first Monoprints. We also got to meet and hang out with a bunch of awesome people from the fantastic city of Ogden. Both days we printed woodcut on shirts for folks, including the wildly popular Lama by Bean. Saturday we had Intaglio printing demos throughout the day and some carving demos as well. All in all it was an awesome event!
