#dousy week

So last year, I wrote and published a Dousy fic (my second ever and first for aos) in honor of the 4th anniversary of As I Have Always Been. I was inspired upon watching the Marvel’s Slingshot web series about Yo-Yo, when a connection between something that occurs in the little series and something from the final season became clear. And given this series came out a few years BEFORE the 7th was even written, my fangirl self may or may not have giggled at upon coming to the realization. Thus, this little one-shot was born. And in honor of the 5th anniversary of the episode and for Dousy Appreciation Week: Day 4 - Stories, I (attempted) to create my first real Tumblr post and GIF set to celebrate. I’ve also included a link for my silly little fic, for anyone that does seem interested in reading it.

The dates and prompts for Dousy Week are here! It’ll be taking place the last full week of November (November 22 – November 28), with the following prompts:

Day 1: Close Calls || New Horizons

Day 2: Astro Ambassadors || Alternate Universe

Day 3: Home || Change

Day 4: Warmth || Names

Day 5: Stars || Waves

Day 6: Time || Quake

Day 7: Free Day

Guidelines:

- You can chose the prompt you like or combine both and interpret them in your own artistic vision

- All types of fanwork are accepted! Fanart, fanfiction, edits, gifsets, playlists, moodboards, and so on

- If your work is late, or you can only do one or two prompts, that’s fine!

This is an event that should be first and foremost fun for you to participate in, not an obligation or something for you to worry about.

Please don’t feel pressured if you feel like you can’t finish something, and keep in mind the deadline is completely made up and doesn’t actually exist- it can be easy to get caught up in a project, but taking care of yourself and your well being is the most you can do sometimes, and that’s okay.

Summary:

Smiling one of his ‘there is no room for argument’ smiles, Fury said, “While we consider what level of threat this attack was, S.H.I.E.L.D. and S.W.O.R.D. are placing you under twenty-four hour protection.”

“Fine,” Fury agreed, leaving Coulson and Daisy stunned. “But Coulson is going to hand pick trusted agents to follow you twenty-four-seven. This is my only offer.”

“I can handle myself,” Daisy said smiling cockily, “Agent May trained me and I live with another field agent. If you send me more than one agent at a time, I will lose their tail. Every. Time.”

Had to write a one-shot for these two 😍

It shouldn't surprise her that the man out of time has captured time in a tangible wallet photo, but the simple sweetness of it catches her off guard all the same.
