Greetings everyone!
So a project that I provided flats/color separations on for...ooh, a decent period of time, has finally been completed! The book is called Iron Clad, which was co-created by Gregg Paulsen, Jason Caskey and Phil Hester, penciled by Gregg, inked by Mark Stegbauer, with highlight colors by Doug Stevens and letters by Micah Myers (covers by Phil Hester and Gregg Paulsen).
And sure, flats/colors separations by me, but enough about me. Let's talk about the book!
IRONCLAD is an all-ages science fiction mini-series that tells the story of Max Clad, 12-year old boy desperately seeking the attention of his workaholic father Dr. Joseph Clad, a top research scientist working for a secret government agency.
But when feelings of unimportance are swiftly cast away and Max is given control of an alien “Defender-class” suit of armor named Ironclad and becomes the only person standing in the way of an invasion from beyond the stars!
It's a good hearted, fun story, with excellent artwork by top notch artists.
If you feel interested (and of course you should!) in acquiring a copy of this story, well, there's a few different ways it can be acquired. Right now they're working on seeing if they can send via Diamond so you can order at your local comic shop if you so like, but in the meantime, you can contact Gregg Paulsen direct on Facebook, or you can tell me, and I'll provide you with the details so that Gregg can get it out to you.
Otherwise, if you happen to be going to a convention that either Gregg, or Committed Comics, is going to be at, you'll be able to purchase direct from them at their booth. Gregg will also sketch something up for you on the spot, so really, that's the best deal of all.
A confirmed convention location that Gregg will be at is Awesome Con in Washington D.C., on March 30-April 1st.
