The images on the left are from pinec*st comics by the once prominent pinec*st artist doublepines. The images on the right is from a comic by bleventeeen. It’s kind of crazy how similar they are, right? Almost as if they were the same person.
It’s probably not popular to do callout posts anymore but whatever. Lately I’ve been thinking about how doublepines/in-your-face-Elizabeth and bleventeeen/limey-art/limey404 are almost certainly the same person, and that this artist that was arguably the biggest pinec*st artist on the internet during the height of the gravity falls fandom.
They posted a TON of essentially underage inc*st porn of the Pines Twins (not gonna show here but you can find a HUGE backlog on @pinecestonlyposts , but MASSIVE CW. Still a little nauseous.) And during this they were also posting a ton of really popular gf fanart on their regular blog. As far as I can tell they’ve been the fandom’s darling and most people have no idea these two artists are one and the same.
I am often disgusted looking back on the gravity falls fandom and the sheer amount of sexualization involved. The way that fans let this shop get so prominent in an audience of mostly children. I was 12 when I watched this show. A lot of siblings related to Dipper and Mabel- especially considering Alex Hirsch based them on himself and his sister.
Honestly, we don’t do enough to address the problems our fandoms have had in the past, and I don’t think it’s right to let artists who have made such harmful content to continue on their platform without at least addressing that they did a bad thing. We can’t pretend these comics aren’t out there (and there’s some extremely gross ones). I’d just like to see @bleventeeen / @limey-art talk about this. Because unless they address it I’m gonna assume that they’re still super into drawing inc*st porn of 13 year olds, and simply don’t post it because it’s no longer in vogue. I’m not calling to cancel them, but pretending this didn’t happen is not the answer.
