Libra sun: but I should just enjoy the time I do have with them!

Libra moon: what’s the point of pursuing unrequited feelings 

Libra sun: I should just give it a chance, if something happens great, if not that’s ok too! 

Libra moon: you’re just using this person to project your feelings onto

Libra sun: nope! I’m enjoying their company and the opportunity get to know them

Libra moon: you’re using them as a distraction from your own feelings then

Libra sun: I’m allowed to look forward to things and take a break from over-analyzing myself!

Jellyfish Music by Double Libra Jellyfish Music was made between December 2017 & June 2018 in a 300 square foot apartment in the Tenderloin, San Francisco. I had finished college, but I had no career aspirations, & the commercial prospects for my old band were looking more grim every time I looked in the mirror. Something I kept saying to myself in times of weakness was "If everything I believe in brought me to this, what good were those beliefs?" In an attempt to at least fall back in love with making music, I began recording sounds while actively trying to think as little as possible. I improvised only using tools at my immediate disposal. No goals, no second guessing, no going back & fixing it later. I hoped that if I took my conscious mind out of the picture, maybe something divine would step in. These five amorphous song-globs are all that remain of dozens of little ambient sound diary entries. I've been very nervous to release this album because it is a bit odd, but I think it's kinda charming in its own way. There’s a kind of playful hopelessness in these songs. I recommend my technique to anyone who feels like they are in a rut. It is strangely empowering to feel that you can draw structure out of randomness.
