Stray Kids MV Observations and Correlations [7]
16) Dark tunnels / hallways.
This really isn’t a surprise, as they even sing about being in dark tunnels and hallways - (“I’m walking in a dark tunnel,” - Seungmin, Hellevator) - but I figured I should mention some places I saw them throughout the mvs I watched.
- Hellevator
- My Pace
- My Pace / I Am YOU
- Levanter
- Astronaut (This one’s more of a room but shh).
17) Compasses.
Although I’m sure compasses appear more often than just in Double Knot, these are two screenshots of compasses from that music video.
Again this one might be slightly more obvious because of certain lyrics (“Looking at a compass without direction going,” / “Cause I’m following the broken compass in the void,” - Felix, Double Knot / D.K. English Ver.), I wanted to point out this scene from Astronaut.
Here, Jisung, Seungmin, Minho and Jeongin are encased in a octagonal wire cage. Purely because the case has eight sides and each boy is facing a different direction, equal distance apart, I figure that it could represent a compass.
North, North-East, East, South-East, South, South-West, West, North-West.
It reminded me of the way the members were standing in different directions at the start of God’s Menu.
However, there are only seven poses and this reminds me more of a clock in a way. The only clocks I can think of off the top of my head, however, are the ones from Chronosaurus.
