🔥 How to Make Dosa Podi Powder
Dry Roast the Ingredients Heat a pan and add urad dal. Roast until it turns golden brown. Remove and keep aside. Similarly, roast chana dal until aromatic.
Add Red Chilies & Curry Leaves In the same pan, add a teaspoon of oil and roast red chilies until crisp. Add curry leaves and roast till they turn dry.
Roast Sesame Seeds Lightly roast white sesame seeds till they pop. Keep aside to cool.
Add Hing & Salt Once all ingredients are roasted and cooled, add asafoetida and salt as per taste.
Grind to Perfection Transfer everything to a blender and grind into a slightly coarse powder (not too fine). Store in an airtight container.
