Dorothy Fields (15 July 1905 – 28 March 1974) wrote the lyrics to more than 400 songs, including "A Fine Romance," "Big Spender," "I'm in the Mood for Love," "On the Sunny Side of the Street," and "The Way You Look Tonight" (which received an Academy Award for Best Original Song for 1935's Swing Time). She also co-wrote (with her brother) the book for the 1946 Broadway musical Annie Get Your Gun, one of 15 musicals she worked on (as well as 26 movies).
