Penny for Their Thoughts
The people here at Berks are fairly interesting. I never really find a day where I don’t learn something new. Like today, I was in my Theater R1A class and I was working in a small group setting with Rohit and Chris. While we still talked about our essays and all, we also trashed talked about the class. For just reasons of course. I’m surprised that they were so blunt about it though. I swear, Stephanie, our GSI, was an earshot away and they still talked shit about the class. I’m glad that I got to hear them talk about it though, they understood how the “system” of the class worked and how we needed to play the “game” if we ever wanted to pass the class. It was relieving to find other people who understood that. I was starting to think that I was the only one.
Of course, the system is frustrating because it doesn’t allow room for much abstractions or free interpretation. Which is one of the reasons why I thought pursuing architecture for a short while would help me. Went to DT with Kristen and all. The passage today was really abstract. But I won’t write about that today.
Also went to visit Youzi because she lives in the same building, just on a different floor. Her room was so spacious. We were talking about our architecture project. Honestly, I’m so excited about this project. Looking back on it, I guess all the other art assignments have built upon this project. It’s going to be awesome! Saw Pablo on that floor too - he’s from Project GOLD. I should visit people more often - I mean on Tuesday I visited Young and went to unit 2 to visit Jae Young. Apparently, Young and Jae Young knew each other because they’re part of the same math discussion.
