A Past-Life-Thing
Remember that one time when we danced as two stars in the sky
and that one when our bodies were just two asteroids amongst others forming our planet?
When we were the first two Metsuleahs growing out of the earth
the years when in our small tribe, I only wanted you, and you just craved me?
Remember when we were Meridites and Kahai in ancient Egypt you played the flute while I braided your hair we couldn’t predict that by the time we fall asleep, we would dream a dream of us playing in the sea where we were white whales lovingly echolocating.
Remind me of the words you whispered in my ear while we sat on a bench in Rome, watching Leonardo paint and the kisses you gave me before taking the train from Paris to Barcelona with a group of gypsies
Remember the secrets we shared when the world was in war and all we had left was each other? Do you recall the time when our love was forbidden but our hearts couldn’t say no?
The time when we watched Armstrong walk on the moon while I took care of your broken arm? How about that time we scored two plane tickets to Japan and went to see the Silk Road?
After all this time after all these years of being reborn into new worlds of our own we find each other in every space of creation we celebrate being alive  with such ease and grace
we are here again I’m laying in your arms as you tell stories of our past and I wouldn’t want to live in any other time but now with you.
