I am in excellent health and hope to find you in similar conditions.

I am positively surprised that you have realized the gains of my work. Perhaps more so than what is reasonable, you are an intelligent man.

It is a shame to see how you have chosen to use your abilities. And I will look forward to telling you so again, in greater detail, on the 25th of December.

Akandes letter is a simple, black card with golden letters wishing a happy holiday. The writing is neat and precise.

Dear Satya,

I hope this letter finds you in good health. I am as well as one could expect, which is to say I am thriving.

But I didn't write to talk about myself. I wrote to wish you a pleasant holiday. I have been watching your career with interest, and I must say, you are a very talented woman. I have seen few who posses your passion, determination and strength of character.

I am aware that there are many things we do not see eye to eye on. I have heard enough to know that you lean heavily on order, while I embrace the possibilities of chaos. But even so, you seem to be in possession of a sharp mind.

I am sure that you have a cutting retort at the ready, and I will offer you the possibility to deliver it. Dinner the 25th, I will pick you up at five.
