< Hello again, your Excellency. This is Ma’ii.
I pray you will countenance the possible discourtesy this question may entail, but I must know.
How is it that a nobleman of the House of Glass finds himself at the controls of a Lycan-PG chassis? Maybe it exposes my presuppositions, but I would have expected something from the Foundries. It must have had some appeal to you, I’d imagine?
More generally, you seem to be something of a prolific hunter. What is your preferred quarry? >
~ Salutations, Ma'ii! ~
No discourtesy at all! Truly, the Lycan frame was quite the surprise. I was once a Nelson pilot, being fully licensed as such and dreaming to join the Albatross as a young lad. Alas, I made a series of errors in my hasty youth and such did not come to pass.
No, the Lycan was the work of some outside, possibly greater, power. I was attempting to license another frame, an Atlas if I recall correctly, and what prints off but a Lycan frame? Truly befiddling. But! What great speed it had for its weight, having incorporated many parts of my Nelson to improve its speed and cunning. Truly a mech befitting a hunter, tough of hide and vicious on the pounce!
As for preferred prey, I quite love hunting hunters. Whether they be kaiju or pirates, any that believe themselves the predator make truly the finest quarry. Though I prefer to capture fellow people alive, it adds to the difficulty and is more humane. Or pays better, depending on who hired us.
~~ Yours in the Hunt ~~
Ezariah Dahar Huin III, of the House of Glass
