Mikael headcanons (and also an excuse for me to post WIP of Mimic Cernan and Crewmember Mikael sharing a moment)
Mikael was as much of a sweetheart as Cernan is. Likes to smile and a humble guy.
He has a resting bitch face which makes him quite hard to approach, gotta get to know the guy before you realise he has always been this nice.
Mikael not violent, but he's ready to throw hands needed. "He won't start a bar fight, he's the one to end it" type of guy. This is the kind of swole build Cernan was into lol
He likes philosophy, one of the many topics him and Cernan liked to talk endlessly about. They get together on their sofa and read books in silence, that's their cozy kind of evenings.
If Mikael gets stuck on a problem (whether it's math or physics etc.) it won't leave his mind and he has to solve it otherwise sleep won't come. He's very stubborn like that.
In terms of how he would get along with the crew on the ship: similar to Cernan, he would be good friends with Cooper and Anders. Different from Cernan, he'd beat Williams ass without a second of hesitation.
TLDR. Mikael is a serious guy, further highlighted with his resting bitch face and how intense he can get when it comes to work. Once you befriend him he's a total sweetheart, but not a total push-over.
