Oh boy that’s a list. From Jayley’s perspective? Being the daughter of her father.But there was also that time where she was startled by a stray Hawu glitching into the middle of her brand new apartment while Jay was fixing the walls, causing her to fall off of the table she was standing on and in turn throwing the hammer she was using across the room and lodging it into the fresh planks she had installed the day before.She put a frame around it and calls it modern art, because boy that hammer is stuck.

Never. Mostly because Jayley never believes in such a thing as ‘lost’. Instead she prefers to think of wrong turns as discoveries. If she has no idea where she is in a city, she gets a new adventure of climbing to the tallest building to figure out where the hell she is.She’s definitely more apt at navigating a forest or the wilderness more than the urban jungles, however.

           BUT, in those instances, I try to see it as more of a way to better myself. If I see someone who has done a cool graphic, I’ll try to pick apart how they did it and replicate the effect with content I own. If someone is a better writer than me, I’ll look at how they write -- the words they use, the structure, etc. At the end of the day, I end up being in compeition with myself. LOL.

No idea, but some simple wooden plugs for my ears always seemed cool. Yeah, those ones, that old people always complain about with stretching holes in your lobes.

tl;dr it means “Adventurer of writing.” Pretty neat, ha.

Have you ever felt as though, despite everything going along as planned, that you are forgetting something? Yet for the life of you, you have no idea what it is that you could have forgotten.The scratching of that sensation is ever constant in the back of Jayley’s mind. Since she was a child she felt that something was missing. That in some sense of the word, that she was hollow. Like someone had reached into her with a spoon and torn through her innards, scooping out important bits that she will never know. Many nights were spent staring at the sky, wondering just what could fill the gaping, bottomless pit of a hole she feels in herself, but so far nothing has come up.It’s a rather annoying feeling.

A Keeper in the most traditional of senses, Jayley sat crouched low in foliage the forest provided. The stars and moon provided little light this night, engulfing the world in a pitch black that only gave Jayley an edge on her hunt. Keepers were nocturnal after all. Her ears picked it up first, angling towards the sound. There was rustle of branches to her right. Turning her head provided no purchase as she scanned through the leaves. Nothing could be seen. Another rustle to her left. Then directly in front of her. The thick scent of fur that had long been cut from it’s owner hit her nose like a chocobo cart. Long, gangly ears twitched this way and that as she sat still, following the movements through sound and scent alone. A calmness settled over. Sight had always been a lesser of her senses.And so when the poacher burst from the bushes to her right with blade drawn, thinking in all his wit that he had outsmarted Jayley, he was met with a blade quickly sinking through his eye and out the back of his skull. Eyes could be so unreliable.
