Timelords Celebrate Christmas Too || Open RP
"Alright, and we're off!" With this, the Doctor gave a flourish of pulling levers and pushing buttons. He gripped the control panel as the TARDIS lurched, grinning widely. Normally, he would have been more careful, but this was not a normal trip. For Christmas was coming soon, and the Timelord was as excited as ever.
Of course, the Doctor thought to himself as he looked to the opposite side of the control panel, it would have been better if he had someone to travel with. It was quite dull, traveling by himself. Ever since Martha left, he found that he really was better off with a companion. The grin faded from his face. Yes, that was what he needed, really.
No matter. He'd find one sooner or later, and if he had to celebrate this by himself, that was what he was going to do. It did no good to be glum two days before Christmas.
When the TARDIS finally landed, the Doctor wasted no time in walking out to wherever he'd landed. He gave a wide smile at the sight of snow. How suiting, he thought to himself. Happily the Timelord walked out of the TARDIS doors, running into someone.
"Sorry, I didn't see you there. Would you mind telling me the year?"
