No gray area here. I love my coffee in the morning but I can't say no to "lamaw" (coconut water with milk and sugar). But mine has no milk nor sugar. Plain coconut water with coconut milk. Pancakes are my favorite treat in the first few weeks of my transition to the Paleo lifestyle. I used plantain in this one. They make for better pancakes 😋 To make this "lamaw", Papa had to open a third coconut because Luna devoured the first TWO COCONUTS 😂🤣😂 Never leave food unattended when Luna is around. Day 217 (August 3) "The Lord will guard us as a Shepherd guards His flock." Keep the line of communication open and surely, no darkness could ever put out the wisdom that His Holy Spirit will give you. Circumstances may test your faith, in any way that it wants, but you'll always come out triumphant because He already won. #DonyaLuna #BraveGirl

Day 214 (July 31) Growing up, it was difficult for me to understand how being poor is a blessing especially with slogan "Money buys happiness" staring right back at me. People don't want to worry about financial things. I mean, who does? But does it really buy happiness? For me, it doesn't. There are a lot of articles written listing down 20 or 50 or a hundred or more ways to be happy, but without God, all the things and the people here in the world are not enough. I remember a saying that said something along the line of being happy even for just a moment is worth than a lifetime of none (okay, Im not sure anymore if there's indeed a saying about that). While it's true, why settle for "just a moment" when we can have not only a lifetime but also an eternity of happiness! #DonyaLuna 😘😘😘

Day 180 (June 27) "If today you hear His voice, harden not your hearts." He speaks to us in so many ways. His words come in a form of that profound peace that calms our souls when we pray; or when we're going about our work or chores: or eveb when surrounded by the cacophony of sounds during the day; Other times, in the stillness of the night. He encounters us wherever we are and whatever we are doing. It's not something that catches us off guard. Because the calling to serve and to fulfill our purpose is something that's ingrained in us. He constantly reminds us. And by constant, I mean once in every year or 2 or 3 years. He really gives us time. I think the fear surrounding the response to Jesus' calling is not the giving up part, but largely on the part when you will have to fill those recently emptied out hands of yours with the cross that you have to bear. It's not easy to follow Him because we stand exposed and we feel so vulnerable to every little bit of bad thing that fate or people might throw at us. But the good far outweighs the bad. A hundred times, a thousand times over! We just have the propensity to focus on the bad more because we don't want to feel pain. We don't want to feel the hurt. Who does? If Jesus had His way, He would have pleaded to God to take it all away. But no. He was so obedient, He IS so full of love for us and of course, for His Father that yes, every beating of it all, every drip of blood was all worth it to save us all.
