Don't grow up. It's a trap.

my dolls would drive cars

and buy clothes all by themselves

and get gas and groceries and food

my dolls would seem so old to me

that life was miles away

i couldn’t wait to be in their tiny plastic shoes

now suddenly i’m in them

and boy are they tight

and the gas pedal is harder to press than anticipated

i buy the things and play the part

and the world seems so manufactured

it sucks when the people you grew up with has already matured, you just miss the times where you guys would laugh at the stupidest things. What really sucks is that I’m the one that wants to go back and I’m the oldest in the newer generation of my cousins. But it’s fine! Life is life, and growing is a part of that.  just, don’t grow up too fast.
