Some ancient jewelry that I drew inspiration from for this last collection. ⁣ ⁣ In order:⁣ •Assyrian Jewelry Chain from Ashur, Middle Assyrian Period⁣ •Women or child’s protective amulet necklace from Slemani, Kurdistan ⁣ •Gold jewelry from Amed (Diyarbakir), Kurdistan⁣ •Tillya Tepe “Golden Hill/Mound” from Northern Afghanistan ⁣ •Traditional Tunisian headdress called Kabbous from the city of Maharès, late 19th century⁣ •Nose ornament in the shape of crescent moon, from unknown, gold and turquoise ⁣ •Ancient Egyptian red jasper stone/bead collar, date and dynasty unknown⁣ •Syrian or Persian gold, garnet, and pearl earrings in the shape of birds, dated to 10th century CE.⁣ •Lion claw amethyst anklet of Princess Mereret, Middle Kingdom 12th Dynasty⁣ ⁣ Yes I will be sharing more inspiration photos because IG cut me off at 10. Over at @dontforgetroots #Repost ・・・ Okay so I like symbolic dates...I'm making Jan 1 2020 the birth of Dontforgetyourroots.com. Although the coming soon page is still up I think I know what I want to do with the site...whatever the hell i want 😂 . . You see I'm the type of guy that goes to shows and gets up front and sings along and takes pictures. A good example is the last @fielddaysounds post...im the guy screaming my lungs out in the straight edge shirt. . . At first it may be an archive or just a picture repository of what I have taken at shows in the past. I may also do some tshirts and stuff (if there are any bands that would allow me to make and sell simple 1 color $10 shirts for them on the site message me). I may develope the platform into other things that I have listed later on. And that is the joy of being a punk rock web developer.
