Honestly, anyone who is completely against Syrian refugees being accepted into our country obviously don't know what they're talking about. These families have been screened for almost a year and have had extensive background checks. Why in the world wouldn't America do this??? Just passing security at the airport and customs is lengthy (and annoying) as it is. America isn't at risk by the people who are coming in as immigrants.. it's at risk just by its own people (quote all the shootings that have happened recently in this country this year alone). Im open to anyone's opinions but those who just follow what their parents say and what the media has to portray are just completely ignorant. Find out for yourself and create your own opinion. I also highly recommend anyone to read "The Kite Runner" and visit the "Humans of New York" webpage on their Syrian Series to see that they're people too. Don't categorize based on what you THINK is a religion or race. Find out for yourself. ..Thank you.
