Donovan: Yay aging!

Donovan: Here she is.

Tamsyn: Son of a-

Alma: Hi, you must be Tamsyn.

Alma: Donovan’s told me so much about you.

Tamsyn: He has?

Alma: You’re a painter, right? 

Tamsyn: I am, yes. Are you an artist?

Alma: No, but I’m a big fan of art. I find it so amazing that people can just...create. It’s baffling to me. 

Tamsyn: What do you do?

Alma: I’m a scientist. A plant biologist...it’s like a herbologist but with less potions and more staring at microscopes. 

Tamsyn: Have you met our Aunt Coraline yet?

Alma: No...that’s not...that’s not Coraline Fryres, is it? 

Donovan: That’s the one.

Alma: She’s your aunt?! She’s like...a goddess in our circles. Her- her work on cross-occult breeding and...no way.

Tamsyn: You should definitely lead with that.

Alma: Really?

Tamsyn: Ready for lunch?

Donovan: Yes. About that-

Tamsyn: You’re not cancelling on me, are you? You do have a phone.

Donovan: No, not cancelling. Thing is, Luke and I have a friend visiting from Moonlight Falls. Her name is Alma, she’s...she just needed a place to stay for a bit. Is it okay if she joins us for lunch?

Donovan and Luke adopted a little girl called OCTAVIA. They moved out and now live together in town.
