Da ich nun schon mehrere dieser genialen und mächtigen XXL-Ausgaben besitze und dadurch auch feststellen musste, daß der Taschen Verlag genau den Nerv des eingefleischten Comicsfans und speziell auch den des Marvel-Lovers getroffen hat, und mich damit auch ganz heimlich infiziert hat. Das gigantische Format in der Größe und den Proportionen der originalen Comic-Artboads, das stabile Cover, die liebevoll gestalteten Vor- und Nachsatzseiten, das haptisch sehr angenehm fühlbare und eigens für die Nachahmung der damaligen Produktionsverfahren entworfene Papier in der Qualität von heutiger Technik, sind mehr als beeindruckend.
