fandoms in general tend to gravitate towards more popular sports AUs like football and hockey (which is fair), but i feel that team/contact sports are objectively very, very poor fits for will given his preferences, personality, and history with his father. some people have more aggressive instincts that need an outlet… not will.
in the case of will playing sports in a fun AU where he is more confident and physically inclined, his core traits serve as great inspiration. he is solitary, creative, gentle and nonconfrontational, but competitive- a truly fun combination that opens up so many options. he’s the fastest runner in the party, too.
with all that in mind, it’s individual sports for him for sure!!! track and field, archery, tennis, swimming, speed or figure skating. pole vaulting is actually a very underrated but excellent option, given will’s leap between trees in the upside down, and the whole idea that will ‘feels like he could fly.’ will & speed and/or flight really mixes well with him being ‘magical.’ it makes a lot of sense for will to get into something more niche since he evades attention, too. so many good choices out there

That's not even a quip, that was just mean. Parker ain't playin dude. This is kind of Spider-man Morales should've been if the attempt to make him interesting or unique. This is the energy that would've made Miles peak for me, it's why I reject the Spider-Morales but the Prowler Miles hits every note I require and all bro had was like less than 5min of screentime in a 2 hour movie.

This issue was awesome & tragic. If Parker had the real symbiote, it woulda been so much worse. This issue is just pure aura the moment he put that suit on, displaying the danger of a morals off Spider-man
