HAPPY BIRTHDAY DONATELLO HAMATO/SPLINTERSON!!!

I knew I wanted to do fanart for my favorite character(s)’s birthday, but I wanted to make it special. So! I drew my favorite versions of Donnie! Now, for the part where I pour my heart out about him.

It’s been 13 years since I first watched episode one of the 2012 version of this incredible franchise, and it shaped my brain chemistry for life. Donnie has been my favorite from the beginning, and will continue to be! I relate to him on every single level, and I’m so glad that I grew up watching ninja turtles kicking serious shell! Happy birthday to the best turtle of them all!
