I don't understand why people get so upset and embarrassed about something they did a long time ago, when I hear the past knocking, I don't answer. It has nothing new to say.

This one has a particularly scary vibe due to its sheer accessibility.  We've all gotten those phone calls at odd times of the day, and that one call that won't stop calling. But this time, it's actually worth it to not answer, no matter how annoying it might be to constantly have your phone ringing. It's that grand classic of short horror; one all too familiar circumstance that goes horribly wrong.
