Errink part 2
Error stared at the God of Death with a weird expression. He was worried but he tried to hide it, his mouth forming a grimace.
A few seconds passed by with the three just looking at each other before Reaper gave off a snort.
"Kidding. He was in my AU talking to Lady Toriel already when I found them."
Error relaxed at this. He realeased his breath he unconsciously held in.
"What did you guys talk about?" Geno asked as he was taking down the blankets and layed it on the floor so they can have a comfortable seat.
"Death counts?... Well Ink and Toriel actually seemed to be talking about something else before I showed up."
"Oh?" Error couldn't help but get curious. He usually wouldn't meddle on things like this but what the heck.
"Yeah, preparation for something I think. But when they noticed me coming, the two immediately shuts up and changed the convo. Heh, couldn't blame them. I'm the master gossiper of the multiverse."
Error tilts his head in confusion. He'll ask Ink later about this.
Reaper smirks, looking at Geno and wiggled his eyebrows.
"W-what?"
"Thinking what I'm thinking?"
"No.... Maybe."
Reaper kept wiggling his eyebrows making Geno blush.
"Shut up." The tsundere groans.
"I'm not even saying anything." Reaper then says huskily, leaning closer to Geno.
"Ew. Stop it you two. Do that when I'm not here." The darker skeleton looks at them with fake disgust but was hiding a smirk as all this was amusing.
"He looked pretty flustered earlier too. Obviously panicking when he saw me. It was a killer sight." Reaper winked.
"Ink?" Error asked.
"Who else? 'M pretty sure it has something to do with this preparation thing." The God of Death said and wiggled his eyebrows at Geno again.
"Ssstooop."
"I won't~."
"Reaper no!"
"Reaper yes~."
Error was almost asleep at the couch when Ink got back home. He didn't eat dinner yet as he was waiting for his partner.
The Creator had a satisfied smile when he arrived. They ate dinner together while Ink kept getting distracted and Error trying to converse with him but failed miserably.
"Night Inky."
"Good night sweat heart."
Error had a hard time falling asleep that night as his head was full of doubts. He had asked Ink about what Reaper said but the dominant was very dismissive and said it was about work.
Error just couldn't believe that.
By Saturday, Ink left again. Later this time. He left just saying he had business to attend to.
Error stayed home and baked brownies, he learned by watching Farmtale!Toriel's multitube tutorial vlog.
The submissive wanted to make something special for his partner and put a lot of effort onto baking. He even tried to make smiley faces using the white chocolate chips on each slice.
Ink got home filled with good vibes. He was practically shinning from it. The taller hugged Error from the back as he was preparing their dinner.
"I-Ink?"
"Just... let's stay like this for a while."
"You seem very happy today?"
"Yeah... very. You should bake more. I loved those brownies."
"Really?"
"Yeah. You're way better cook than Blueberry."
"That's because everyone IS better than him... I-I mean, no offense-but-" Error was cut off by Ink's laugh.
"Cute."
Error's soul was fluttering after that. He forgot his doubts and fell in love with Ink all over again. It was only at night when his dark thoughts re-emerged.
Error and Ink was snuggly cuddles together in bed that night. The submissive lying on his side while his skull was resting on Ink's firm chest. The dominant had his arm hugging Error and he slept on his back.
Ink's phone sounded a notification waking the taller up. He unlocked his phone and read the message. He didn't know Error was awoken by his rustling and was peaking at his phone.
The only thing Error was able to read was,
Dream: When can we meet again?
Before Ink finished typing and tossed his phone back on the bedside table.
'He met with Dream?'
