I think it’s a total gimmick and anyone who thinks it will rival the Olympics is hilariously out of touch with hockey fans and players. But i don’t think it’s necessarily a bad thing that it’s a money grab. the NHL needs money. And it’s a business, it’s supposed to make money. It’s fun, it’s creative, and it seems like the players enjoy it. My biggest worry was that it wouldn’t be taken seriously by the players, that it’d be a glorified all star game, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. I think the players are going to make it fun and as someone who likes watching hockey whatever it is, i will enjoy it. I just don’t think it’ll ever match up to how special the olympics are for the players and fans.

the only reason i ever watched top gun was for adrian pasdar (nathan petrelli on heroes) and the whole movie he had one single scene he sat on a folding chair two rows back from tom cruise and he had glasses on the whole time (i dont think he even made it into the locker room scenes it was lame shit). top gun is a masterpiece so im not mad but...damb
