I can totally see this happening. And Drole doesn’t mind at all, he can barely feel Gloxinia on his head! When he knows he is there, he tries to move slowly and carefully, he doesn’t want to disrupt his sleep. Sometimes though, he doesn’t even realize Gloxinia is there and walks around without noticing until someone points it out, he is too light!

I haven’t rewatched season 3 yet, but I totally feel you. Kiane ending up together and happy is surely one of my favourite things in this manga, it was such a relief! But about Monderi and Dologlox, well, we know that Monderi will most likely have their chance to be happy in the sequel (or so I hope, I’m ready to riot if they don’t). Hopefully, they will end up like Kiane (alive, together and happy).

Alright, here are some headcanon for Drole and Gloxinia in quarantine! I agree with you, together they would probably manage not to get bored!

When quarantine starts, the one who panics the most is Gloxinia because he doesn’t know what to expect; he also realises that this means that he will not see his sister for a while and doesn’t like this at all. Drole is worried as well, but he hides it better.

At first it’s hard to get used to it. I think that both Drole and Gloxinia would like to spend time outside, so being forced not to leave their house wouldn’t be the best for them.

But they have a garden! Gloxinia insisted about it when they decided to move out together and he always took care of it. Now he and Drole spend a lot of time sitting on a bench in the garden. Sometimes they talk, sometimes they just cuddle. And they take care of the plants together! They are growing so well! 

They also manage to get used to talking with their families and friends using the internet. Gloxinia videocalls Gerheade once every couple of days to check how she is (she is stuck with her boyfriend Rou and Gloxinia is not sure how much he likes this). 

Now that they both work from home, Drole and Gloxinia manage to spend more time together and they enjoy that a lot. Sometimes they meditate together, they watch tv series (I can totally see Gloxinia watching and loving soap operas and Drole just sitting next to him and trying very hard to understand what’s happening but getting lost. In the end, he just plays with Gloxinia’s hair and cuddles him even though Gloxinia still wants to watch his shows), they also prepare together some meals. They also simply work together, enjoying each other’s presence and support.

I think that in a modern AU Drole would also train and work out, and on this occasion, Gloxinia would help him to stay fit helping him planning his training. (He also likes to watch Drole training. Sometimes he joins)

When I started shipping them: I’m not sure actually ... probably I’ve started thinking about this ship more when they kidnapped King and Diane to train them because it was the first time we could actually see them interact in a more relaxed way. And surely the fact that they chose to fight together till death also pushed me towards this ship. As I reread the manga a few times, I couldn’t help but ship them more and more

My thoughts: okay I love their relationship anyway, both as platonic and as romantic! Their personalities are different but they fit so well and their dynamics are so fun! Besides they have known each other for a very long time, they have probably been there for each other in their darkest moments and I love how they are always side by side. I also like the fact that they are the leaders of their Clans ... it’s interesting to think about how they met and became friends and eventually managed to make their clan collaborate against the Demons. 

What makes me happy about them: the fact that Gloxinia is the only person who we see making Drole laugh, the thought that even after they betrayed their clans (I’m sure they felt so guilty about it) they still had at least each other ... and oh, the fact that they accepted their fate and died together to protect their heirs and clans. It’s tragic, but the fact that they both agree to do this and were together until the end is just ... good. 

What makes me sad about them: that they died. It was a beautiful death, but it hurt 

Things done in fanfic that annoys me: there are not enough fanfiction about them, that’s what annoys me! I mean, I could write stuff for them, I know, but I would want more anyway! 

Things I look for in fanfic: for them to actually get together and have a romantic relationship because I would love to see this explored! 

My wishlist: well it would have been nice if they didn’t die and just lived together in the Fairy King’s Forest and helped King and Diane merging their Clans. (I also would have liked for them to see how much King and Diane are strong now ... I wanted Gloxinia’s reaction to King’s new form!)

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: I have no other ships for them, mostly because they don’t have very close relationships with other characters

Who is a night owl: none of them has problems staying awake late at night but usually Drole falls asleep sooner. (In a modern AU or anyway if Drole is small it can be a problem when he is not in the bed because Gloxinia simply can’t carry him, so he just cuddles with him and puts a blanket on them)

Who is a morning person: Drole. He wakes up when the sun rises without any problem (in a modern AU, he is totally going to work out)

Are they cuddlers: usually they are more for the casual touching, Gloxinia can sit on Drole’s shoulder and play with his hair or in his hand, and Drole can pet Gloxinia with his finger. If they are the same size they are probably going to cuddle more

Who is the big spoon: Drole, usually, though when they are the same size Gloxinia’s wings can be a bit of a problem, but they always manage to handle it

Who is the little spoon: Usually Gloxinia but he likes to be the big spoon sometimes too! It’s just hard to hug all of that

What is their favourite sleeping position: okay when Drole is giant size, Gloxinia just leans with his back against him or sleep on his chest/shoulder, when they are the same size Drole wraps in his arms 

Who steals all the blankets: none of them is usually cold but Drole is most likely to do it without realising it and Gloxinia just steals them back

What they wear to bed: in canon I think they don’t even change their clothes but I can see them wearing more comfortable pants 

Who likes seeing the other wearing their t-shirt: alright if Drole tried to wear one of Gloxinia t-shirts he would probably rip it, so I think Gloxinia is the one who steals the shirts. They look enormous on him but he likes it

Who falls asleep mid-conversation: Drole. He often lets Gloxinia talk and if he is really tired he just falls asleep. He doesn’t want to but he can’t help

Who wakes up in the middle of the night with nightmares: Both of them! They both had these terrible experiences and sometimes they just wake up breathing heavily and full of regrets. Luckily they have each other and they always manage to calm the other down

Who accidentally punched the other in their sleep: Gloxinia. Drole didn’t even notice

Who can’t keep their hands to themself: They don’t seem to touch each other very often, but the one who likes touching the most is Gloxinia probably

Who said “I love you” first: ... I would say Gloxinia because he is doesn’t look shy about things like this. Drole would probably need a while to acknowledge them 

Who would have the other’s picture as their phone background: both of them. They could even have the same picture of the two of them

Who leaves notes written in fog on the bathroom mirror: Gloxinia, he loves messing with Drole like that

Who buys the other cheesy gifts: Drole, Gloxinia is more likely to buy funny gifts 

Who initiated the first kiss: okay Gloxinia seems more spontaneous but if he wasn’t sure about Drole’s feelings he would prefer to wait. Drole could also initiate the first kiss if he knew about Gloxinia’s feelings

Who kisses the other awake in the morning: Drole! Gloxinia is more likely to sleep more in the morning. He likes being woken up like that though 

Who starts tickle fights: Gloxinia. Always. And he also wins usually, though the flesh around his wings is rather sensitive so if Drole gets there it’s over for him 

Who asks who if they can join the other in the shower: Drole asks usually, Gloxinia just enters the shower 

Who surprises the other in the middle of the day at work with lunch: in canon they work together but I can see Gloxinia being the one proposing to stop and have lunch. 

Who was nervous and shy on the first date: Drole, totally! It was his first experience and he didn’t know what to do! Gloxinia was more chill

Who kills/takes out the spiders: Gloxinia usually because he finds them nice, he usually carries them somewhere else in the forest. I doubt Drole notices them
