JEB AND MY PIGGY ARE HERE!!

Truthfully, Jeb arrived last week lol, but i wanted to wait until my piggy had arrived to share pics with yall. Also youll understand why I'm excited about This pig doll in particular by the end of this post, ANYWAY: JEB TIME!!

He's as ugly as I was hoping he'd be lol! Stupid rat bastard I love him dearly. Also, here's something silly, have a side by side comparison of the official plushie with a custom Jeb doll I bought for s0uless for christmas, which is now in my possession atm since. yanno. they're moving in with me lol

Anyway, now onto the pig doll! So Storytime!

When I was a baby the first pig doll (And I believe first doll period?) my parents bought for me was this pig doll, and ever since I've had insane fondness for pigs. Unfortunately, when I was 6 years old, I left my pig doll that I'd had since I was a baby at church, and when my parents took me back to look for it, someone had already taken it and thus it was lost to time. When I was 7, my dad bought me a new pig doll and said it was piggy but grown up, and THAT's the Piggy you all know about, I've had him since then.

Recently, I was helping my nana sort through photos, and I found THIS photo of lil baby me with the original Piggy:

And then I realized that the tag on Piggy showed it was from Ty, so:

So I sent my parents the ebay listings to just make sure I was right about that being the same piggy, and I was RIGHT! So I immediately bought one, and he arrived a couple of days ago, and I've been so so happy since! Here he is next to the current Piggy:

I've been reunited with a childhood treasure of mine I never thought I'd see again! Words can't describe how overjoyed I was to receive him in the mail!

Anyway, here's an update to the autism pile!

I can’t believe Hasbro has the gall to charge $25 for those Disney Princess “collector dolls” with no knee joints and now arm joints in wave 2. Cinderella in the bigger box is no doubt going to be at least $30, maybe $35. Printed on details on a doll intended for collectors at that high a price? I shouldn’t get this mad about toys but holy shit the audacity of Hasbro to slap the Disney Princess name on this garbage.

After Disney yanked the license from Mattel, Hasbro said they were going to do better but just a few years later they’re pulling this. I honestly want Disney to give the license to MGA instead because they’re apparently the only Western toy company that actually knows how to make dolls anymore.

Rainbow High have big cartoony heads and the faces are oddly glossy, but they are so detailed compared to everything else on the market it’s not even a contest.

The MSRP for each RH girl is $26.99, the same price as an LOL OMG. OMGs are already a damn good deal for that price, but Rainbow High tops even that.

Each RH doll comes with full articulation, inset eyes, two high-quality outfits, two pairs of shoes, 2 hangers to hold the outfit she’s not wearing, and a comb and stand in her signature color. These aren’t even collector-tier, these are playline! If Mattel was making these they would charge $50, and the girls wouldn’t come with inset eyes, a second outfit or hangers.

Mattel is that guy who thinks he’s a good person because he tries to be “woke”, but he’s a lazy cheapskate who picks you up for a date in a 2003 Toyota Corolla and takes you to Burger King.

Draculaura herself is fairly simple for this release which is fine, just means I have more fun testing the waters of simple restyling lol. Anyway, I really like her scooter, it's so cute!

And speaking of Draculaura, I had an idea already pre planned for this small restyle, which entailed just putting her in Fearbook Drac's leather jacket and giving her bangs lol

I left her alone for like 4 days while I stayed at my nana's place with her helmet on to see if that would help set her bangs, and it sort of did? Could be better though, but in my defense this is my first try at properly doing bangs on a doll lol. I think she looks cute! But her helmet is staying on for a little longer lmao

this is because I got some doll stuff for my birthday! which was like 4 days ago but I just got home from staying at my nanas this week lol ANYWAY

first of all shoutout to my fucking homie @green--y cause they not only got me Draculaura Skullette earrings, they also got me a 2014 rerelease Draculaura!! She will NOT be opened I love the 2014 vector boxart too much to open her LOL

And the other doll news for me being: MAKESHIP AIKA!!

If you don't know who Aika is, she's the protag of I Don't Want To Be A Magical Girl, a series by @kianamaiart!! I've been a big fan of Kiana's stuff since I was like 10 years old and I'm so happy to now have a piece of her work with me!! The makeship plush turned out so cute I love her dearly lol

I found Scary Sweet Birthday Clawdeen yesterday at a local toy store of mine, and today I found a creepro Drac for cheap as well as sitting cuties Lopunny at a local toy show in my area!

So firstly, SSB Clawdeen! The doll itself is really simple but that's because she's apart of a pretty damn intricate cake building playset! It's just playdough with a bunch of decor pieces but I had a lot of fun playing around with it to decorate the cakes!

Now I have everyone for the Scary Sweet Birthday Line and I couldn't be happier!! Once again, one of my best friends bought everything in this line for me as a late birthday present and I can't thank her enough for it!

Secondly, Creepro Drac! She's so adorable, and I actually really like the changes they made to her face's screening, she looks a lot like her counterpart from the og G1 webisodes! I'd compare her to my original G1 doll but she's in storage for now </3

And finally, sitting cuties Lopunny is so cute, I love her so much and am so glad I finally have her! Lopunny is like my 2nd favorite pokemon, right behind Gardevoir, and I was so bummed I missed out on getting a doll of her when I found out about the sitting cuties line. But I found her today and got to add her to my (small) collection of sitting cuties of my fav pokemon!
