Bony Wizard
It's a day for autumn magic in the Pacific Northwest. My bony companion looks positively dashing in this little peaked wizard's hat. Maybe a bit eerie as well.

Bony Tricorn Hat
Today my bony boonfellow is sporting a tricorn hat and cockade, most befitting a former pirate. I think I heard someone say "bring me that horizon!"
Bony Crown
We say: "Hey! NO KINGS"
💀 says: "Dead kings rule. Put me on money!"
Musselburgh Hat
The light is gone for today, but I was able to get one photo. This is the little Musselburgh Hat that I knit for my posable skeleton. It (the hat) is roughly 4.25 inches long (10.8 cm) and looks really cute. The middle section becomes the folded brim.

Bony Käänteinen Rib Cap
Not finished knitting beanies for the bony one. Nope, not by a long shot. Gotta keep that skull cozy.
This is my little skeleton-sized version of Pirita Hiltunen's Käänteinen Rib Cap (@philtfi on IG)
Bony Santa
This was inevitable. 💀
The plastic posable skeleton is about 15 1/2 inches long - perfect for a little knitted Santa hat. I didn’t have enough of any one leftover red sock yarn, so I used helical knitting. I envision an entire series of skeleton knitwear. I’m reminded of the civilian clothes my mother sewed for my G.I. Joe. 😀
Bony 1898 Hat
Down the rabbit hole I go. Today my skeleton is wearing a little 1898 Hat, my go-to winter pattern when I lived in Wisconsin.
A few years ago I knit an even smaller version (last photo). This one is altered to fit the skeleton, whose head isn't proportionally the same as a human skull.
