But she can't save Kim Dokja. What even is the point of being saved from a scenario if she can't do the same for him?
Around Han Sooyoung and Yoo Joonghyuk, Lee Seolhwa likes to pretend she isn't losing hope. But if they notice her swollen eyes and the teartracks on her cheeks whenever they visit their beloved reader, they don't mention it.
Most of her companions either wants to be away from Kim Dokja as to not be reminded of how much they lost or they keep visiting to remind themselves of how much they want him back. But Lee Seolhwa stays as much as she can around him, neither leaving nor returning. If it is a punishment she puts upon herself for failing him as his doctor, she isn't certain. But she thinks she doesn't want Kim Dokja to wake up alone, not even for a second.
