Thursday, 07/23/15 To be honest, despite learning these numbers in a day and considering how long its been since I’ve danced Tahitian… I’m kinda proud of myself.
Modern as f*ck.
Sometimes I feel this stupid little smile on my face
...when I’m dancing.
My face starts to scrunch up and I feel a familiar tension in my cheeks-- my eyes get smaller but somehow light up.Â
Its ridiculous! I normally don’t notice until its too late and it only makes me smile even harder.
This all happens simultaneously while I’m dancing. It’s as if my body is executing a set of movements and my facial muscles start to coordinate different movements of their own.
To be honest, no matter how stressed I am or how hectic things can be, this stupid little smile pulls on my face and that’s when I know  I’m sincerely happy. Life on pause, even just for this 8 count.

Some times when I’m feeling a certain way, this song creeps up in my mind and starts playing on loop as if my life was a movie and this was the main song on the soundtrack.
