Eeeee tonights treadmill sessions were SO good. Sigurd didn't need a leash to stay in place AT ALL and only needed a hand under his tum on occasion to keep from sitting but otherwise he was 100% on his own. Zombie was 100% on her own without any hands, just pure love in her little face as I encouraged her forward! She even began to understood how she needed to jog forward when she wasn't moving fast enough. Slash is still a bit SUS about this treadmill thing (the hardest part about being the smartest dog is he takes 100% longer to get used to things because he's actively thinking about things). But he wants to please SO badly. He just practiced getting on the treadmill while it was still and tolerating standing on it which was successful.

Excellent dogPacer session with the pups this evening. Weather was so grossly hot and this is exactly what we bought the dog treadmill for. Sigurd & Zombie are becoming pros and I only have to keep a little eye on them and praise them (treats at the end of their sessions). I also upped the speed for Sigurd. Slash finally was able to get moving on the treadmill and i could see the cogs turning in his little brain that 'oh this is fun and they are jackpotting me hot dog??? and praising me in the best squealy baby voices AND i get to move???' it was very cute.

finally was able to get slash going on the treadmill tonight and he did a little three minute session! Treadmill training is super new to me so we've been taking it slow, but the other dogs were pleasantly easy to handle this session. Sigurd especially really seems to thrive on the treadmill which is still so interesting to me.

Finally ordered the dogPacer. I hate spending money but if I’m gonna do it spending it on the dogs is the best option.
