Dating Loki Headcanons

Loki would be very supportive of you, but he also wouldn’t understand many of your mortal plights. Don’t like your job? Just quit. He wouldn’t really get why you’d keep doing things out of necessity that are making you unhappy.
He’d be very interested in any of your ideas. He could talk to you for an extended amount of time about them. He’d also give you his honest opinion about them; whether they were hypothetical things or things you could actually do.
Being with Loki would be fun, but sometimes he can be a little much. Your best bet would be to distract him with a new fun thing rather than trying to get him to reign it in if he starts to get over the top.
He also doesn’t think that far ahead with a lot of things. Everything would be very in the moment. What sounds good right then? What do you want to do right then? Planning isn’t his strong suit.
Once he got the hang of it, he’d be pretty affectionate with you. Most especially being held by you. He wants to be the little spoon. If you’re shorter than him, then you’re his lil jetpack.
If you invited Loki out with you to run errands or to go with you to a company event/meeting up with friends/etc. you’d definitely lose him in the crowd for a time. He’d inevitably always find people to talk to and joke with and he’d end up leaving with some new friends.
