Small Favor
Can you guys pray for my dog Scooby? He hasn’t been feeling well for the past few months. We took him to the vet a couple weeks ago and discovered he has the beginning stages of kidney disease and some possible neurological problems. He’s pretty old, will be 12 in October, so we’ve been expecting his health to decline at some point, just not this fast. It still hurts like hell to see this happen to him.
I gave him a bath in the backyard earlier today and noticed a small lump under the left side of his chin. He was drooling very think mucus that contained blood in it. I know it wasn’t there yesterday, but I felt it earlier today and it’s caused me some concern. I live in the deep south in the US, so there are plenty of insects that can sting. Bees, wasps, mosquitos, etc. My mom thinks it might be an infection from a cut either inside or out, but we're going to the vet tomorrow to see what it is. So far he doesn’t seem to have any problems breathing, eating, drinking, opening his mouth, etc. He only seems to be bothered when we try to feel it. Since we just got him on some meds and he was getting bathed in the yard with insects flying around, we just want to make sure it’s nothing serious.
