Now, in the canon epilogue, everyone grows up to (ostensibly marry and) have kids, because a majority of people do that.

Digimon generally have the mindset of whatever evolution stage they're in. I'm just guessing Tailmon's adult stage.

The humans will all age and mature as normal, but Digimon age and deage with energy level.

Meaning that eventually, it'll be a lot like parenting for most of the human partners--they will have had good practise!

Ken's a little different. With Ken and Wormmon, I don't see them coming out of the peer dynamic as Ken gets older. Their dynamic is pretty different from, say, Daisuke and V-Mon. Ken's weighed down by a lot of trauma, guilt, and other stuff in his head, and if anything, Wormmon interacts with him the way a same-age or only slightly younger sibling might. He worries about, fusses over, and loves Ken, but he doesn't have the solutions or direction someone older might.

I don't really see that changing with age. Chiefly because I don't see Ken being able to overcome everything terribly easily, for reasons I've outlined in other posts.
