I love this command. I had a client who called me about two months ago, letting me know her mother was over for a visit. Mom had knocked over her medication onto the floor. Her dog ran over to see what was going on and the dog parent asked her dog to leave it. The dog immediately backed away and left the medication alone. She told me she didn’t panic, and asked the dog only once in a calm voice. She had practised this command often. This command could save your dog’s life.

Teaching Your Dog “Leave It”
