“Saengsamly was last seen alive by her daughter on Friday evening (23 March 2018). The woman's son, identified in the report as Jack, paid a visit on Saturday after family members were unable to reach Saengsamly.”

“Jack reported that when he entered the home, he was greeted by the woman's dogs, who were guarding the body and growling.”

"Saengsamly's cause of death was listed as "multiple puncture and blunt force injuries" due to "mauling by dogs."”

25 March 2018 Noah Trevino

"The 4-year-old was in the backyard Sunday with the family dog, when the "large mix breed" dog bit him on the neck. His uncle told police that he went outside and the family started CPR to resuscitate the child.”

“Authorities said the child was airlifted to University Hospital with life-threatening injuries and "excessive trauma." He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.”

“The family said the dog has never attacked people.”

“The fatal attack occurred March 9 at Jordan’s Hanover Street home.”

“Jordan told police Smokey was drinking water from a dog bowl right before he attacked the child. She said she suddenly “heard screaming and crying” and saw “blood everywhere,” according to the statement.”

“The girl suffered serious injuries and later died at a hospital.”

“Jordan told police she frequently let the dog loose, but sometimes placed the dog in another room because the dog is “not good with children.””

“She said Smokey had been neutered and “she thought the dog had ‘calmed down.’”

“The little girl was just 8-days-old and was reportedly attacked while in her bassinet Wednesday mid-morning, the sheriff said, inside the family home located in the Seminary community located 7 miles from the Wise County, Virginia border.”

“A family member transported the child to a medical facility in Big Stone Gap and evaluated. She was then taken by medical helicopter to Tennessee where she passed away just after 4 p.m. from injuries sustained to her upper body.”

"The dog in question had been a family pet that lived in the home with two young foster children for several months with no prior incidents.  The Wise County Department of Social Services approved the home for placement following a study which revealed no concerns about the dog. “Jason Dodge says his daughter, 3-year-old Rylee Marie Dodge, was attacked by the dog at their home on Sunday. The girl was at the home with her grandmother when the attack happened. Dodge said he had left to go visit his brother when he received a panicked phone call from his mother about the attack. When he arrived back at the house he said his mother was trying to rescue the girl from the dog. His mother was also injured during the struggle.”

“Dodge said once he was able to get the dog away from the girl he loaded her into his truck and was planning to take her to the hospital when an ambulance arrived at the home. The EMS crew and doctors at the hospital attempted to save the girl but were unable to do so.”

Laura Williams Ray ... worked at Happy Hound Hotel on Smith Street just outside West Monroe. Investigators say she was caring for animals staying overnight when she was attacked by the 50 pound dog.”

“The dog was being boarded at the Happy Hound Hotel for the first time, according to the hotel's owner. They believe Ray was trying to feed the dog when it attacked her, but don't know why it lashed out so violently. The hotel's owner told us that the pit bull's owner signed papers saying the dog was not aggressive. And, like in many cases of dog attacks, the owner said their pet had never done anything like this before.”
