We need to stop this ridiculous radical opposition between STEM and the arts and the humanities because a math student looked at me straight in the eye and told me that her career isn’t creative so incentives for creation should be focused solely on the arts and if that isn’t weird I don’t know what is.
#doesn't math require a creative mind?#doesn't science?#engineering?#isn't creativity a part of human nature that manifests in many ways?#stem majors are not soulless robots#and art majors are not creating machines#painting music and writing are not the only ways to be creative#we all need to have that in mind
