Anybody else remember when the war in Ukraine broke out and everybody on my dash was saying that we should be respectful to Russian civilians who had no part in declaring war and were in fact resisting it in large numbers. That calling it Ukrainian dressing was a Freedom Fries level of stupidity. That discriminating against even those who were Russian living in the US with 0 part in the war was comparable to the discrimination Germans who fled Nazi Germany to live in the US during WW2 faced (including German Jews fleeing the Holocaust). That both situations were wrong and unjustifiable and citizens who oppose their government and left their country of origin because of its actions should not be continuously held responsible for a war they didn't declare and don't support. Just me? Am I the only one who remembers that?? Or is saying that antisemitism against American Jews doesn't matter because we all carry a blood debt for Palestine totally cool and normal because you are, perhaps, predisposed to believe that Jews carry a burden of sin for just existing (cough blood libel cough deicide cough).
