I have talked about this before probably much much better because i wasn’t super tired but I’ll give it another shot

I guess the problem with us fans in general is that we have a hard time acknowledging the bad things our faves do (not me, I love my dumbass son but acknowledge all the stupid shit he does), generally people will ignore problematic shit their faves do because that character is their fave, they gotta be pure or some shit

which btw I think is fine but then what happens when your favorite character does something so bad you can’t ignore it? idk man idk

anyway I’m not sure if Nadia was saying that Omar’s crime was being gay. I think she was probably saying his crime was standing up to their dad and yelling and stuff, but they forgave him for it anyway. I mean I get where she’s coming from don’t get me wrong, but I also think that she’s willfully downplaying how horrible he had it and that’s wild to me. I think at this point, she doesn’t get how horrid Omar had it cause she doesn’t want to. She keeps equating her own situation with his and it is so not the same. I don’t think she’s being nasty on purpose. I think she’s just tired and frustrated and taking out her frustration on him. Which is not ok but
