Wet your Whistle. Marcus and Open || Para
Marcus walked down the loading ramp and onto the metal loading bay of the station they had landed in on Mannan. He took in a deep breath, it was a different smell which was always nice after being up in the black for a while. The place smelled salty, and if you listened you could hear the sounds of waves far below the docking station on which they now sat.
The loading area was a bustle of activity as ships were loaded and unloaded with stock and cargo of all kinds. Outside the entrance was a bustling market selling this and that to the crews of all the ships who had stopped off either for a break or to find more business before leaving. The vendors were expert salesmen and hounded their customers with deals and bargains to get them to buy from them.
Marcus adjusted his brown leather jacket that was waist length and turned to look at the Normandy. The ship stood out as a fine specimen even with all these other ships around. He smiled as he took it in. He was happy to be included in its crew. The ship was great indeed and the people on board were each skilled in their own way. Marcus stood waiting for a bit, he had mentioned going for a drink with a few members of the crew. Now that he was on Mannan he was interested to see who would take him up on the offer. He leaned against the Normandy's open loading door as he waited for company and enjoyed taking in the sights and sounds of the new planet.
