in between making deliveries and connecting australia to the link, fragile had almost forgotten to pay attention. tomorrow's appearance in her life had been sudden but warmly welcomed nonetheless - especially after what had happened back at the shelter. her fault completely, something fragile will have to live with for the rest of her life; stolen time that now comes back in waves to her in the form of memories she had forgotten all about. and that's exactly the crux of her inner turmoil - the acknowledgement that tomorrow was hers too at some point in time, though she knows better than to voice such a claim.
no, fragile's grief and longing for times that now feel so distant remains something at the back of her head despite weighing heavy on heart - all she can bring herself to do as they finally come to a little stop throughout their expedition, is offer water and food. "want some?" the cryptobiote flicker between fingertips, wriggling slightly as fragile moves it closer towards tomorrow. "keeps the timefall away," a small smile on lips as she says it - for old time's sake she thinks, though can't help but wonder how much of that tomorrow remembers ... if she does at all.
"do you like the magellan?" she makes small talks, eats her own snack as gaze drifts over the vast nothingness and nature in front of them. "i see you hang out with rainy a lot," just an observation - though it does beg the question for fragile if perhaps she really is not cut for anything vaguely motherly; rainy sure seems more prepared despite being a future first time mother. "it's nice you made a friend. one good friend can get you through anything," fragile's own experience promptly shoved aside, of course.
