Coloured Dnd Sticker: This week I finished up my sticker design, and instead of making just one version, I‘ve created a colour series. I’m actually planning on printing these and trying to sell them, so although having multiple versions will drive the production prices up, it’ll give customers the ability to choose their favourite colour combinations.
In true Teigan fashion, I spent a couple hours just trying out colour combinations and making multiple versions (which you can see in the last photo). I decided on the cream coloured ones because I felt that they had the most contrast and that they had more of a contemporary feel to them, which made them feel fresh. I also really love how the black D20 really stands out and grabs your attention, which I think will really appeal to DnD nerds (like me).

DnD Sticker: This week I did something completely different from what I normally do, and decided to work in illustrator. One of the things I’ve been meaning to do this semester is to create a custom Dungeons & Dragons DM screen for my boyfriend. My plan for it is to make a really ornate pattern using common weapons and items that you normally find in the game. Unfortunately, doing this would also mean that it would be very complicated and time-consuming to create.
To get the ball rolling though, this week I decided to start creating some of the items I plan to use in the pattern. After I had designed the items, I started playing around with ways to display them to show on Tumblr. I inadvertently started designing a sticker before I knew it, and I plan on colouring it next week and hopefully looking into ways to print it out. As far as DnD things go, I think it’s pretty cute! And I know a bunch of nerds in my life who would be interested in it.
