For anyone looking to get into Dungeons and Dragons, I highly recommend these two boxes. You can get them both at Target for relatively cheap, and they are excellent starter sets. The newest one, the Essentials Kit, just came out today, and it has a lot more things in it that help with running a game. There are even rules for playing with just two people. Anyone interested in playing that still hasn’t pulled the trigger, just text me or something. We’ll get you in. So overall, not impressed with the new D&D Essentials Kit dice. Yes to more dice for a starter set, but no to generic red translucent.
