Astrafel Species: Kiffar halfblood Paladin, Oath of Devotion ( Was a ‘fallen /broken oath’ by Deathwatch for his Defecting) Face Claim: Taika Waititi as blackbeard - Specifically short bearded boy- Before his fall and marking: His hair was black and his tan skin was untouched
After: Long dark hair slightly curled with streaks of white/silver, often tied up at the back of his head with a few strands loose around his ears? Slight facial hair. Dark eyes. He has marks upon his face and arms that are gold, arcane in nature, left by the Ka’ra to mark him as their champion. These marks mirror a star chart which in turn are standard locations of the Ka'ra in the sky according to Manda'yaim's spoken history. Armor Colors: Rich dark blue in a satin finish ( looks almost velvety has very little shine in the main color). The Star Chart of his tattoos is mirrored across his armor this is in metalic gold.
Bio: Astrafel was a foundling of Clan Vizsla at one time. Adopted into the line and never quite right as there was a superiority complex rooted deeply into the clan’s elders. He wasn’t clan born, and so he remained low in the ranks. That didn’t stop the young man from striving in every way to meet their expectations and exceed them.
When The Vizslas tangled themselves into Deathwatch, he was indoctrinated too. Fell into it, obedient. Skilled. He killed without thought. Hunted others in their armor and then never bothered to give them the proper burial they deserved. Dishonored. He was the blessed, righteous hand of the Watch. And he was good at it. Doing what must be done for the Mand’alor. For the people.
And then they asked him to execute an ad. To break Haat’mando’ade they’d captured. All that came after was a blur. He’d been spaced. At least he was pretty sure he had. Stripped of his gear. All because he’d refused to kill a child who could not even form words to speak with their own tongue. Somewhere in the bitter cold and dark the ka’ra had reached for him.
He did not beg for their forgiveness, only solemnly admitted to the sins he’d committed . Lay himself prostrated before them, prepared to face being marked Dar’manda and abandoned by the very council of stars. Instead, he woke to the quiet muttering of one rather put off Mando’ad who called themself Solaris.
From that moment on, he found himself blessed with awakened gifts from the Ka’ra.( The cosmic Force). He made it a point to do RIGHT, carry out their wishes and judgment for the true better of the people even if it meant walking in shadow himself. And he shed the name of Vizsla. Eventually he earns Jaig Eyes, which he has fashioned into a visor that flips down in combat ( like a range finder but on both sides) Armor Design: He carries a heavy broadsword type weapon that's forged with the will of the Ka'ra - star markings- His left kom'rk is inset with a golden pattern and from it he can spawn a shield that can be used to protect himself or to guard another. His Kar'ta Beskar is also slightly different with a crystal inset into the beskar itself. ( kyber? Maybe? ) An armor weave cloak with a hood big enough to fit over his helmet. A flip down visor that looks like Jaig Eyes. Enhances his sight ( also allows him to filter through visual overlay like Infrared and Heat signature ) Don't judge my terrible scribble over a helmet base I also scribbled. What even are straight lines I don't know. @dick-djarin and @dreamingdraig Okay No more pestering over these brain worms you two gave me with your Adopts.
