There is much in this place that seems far more advanced than in Eorzea, whilst somehow also seeming less wondrous than Allag inventions. Still, every day offered an opportunity to learn something new about the inventions that populated this city, something that Shino took much delight in.

Today, she’s fiddling with a portable fan that blows small gusts of wind when it’s switched on. Nothing mind-blowing, certainly, but it seems useful enough as a temporary measure to keep cool. Her amusement is interrupted at the sound of a heavy thud, and she looks up to see a man hitting one of those strange boxes that she’s observed to dispense food and drinks. Curious as to how it functions, she steps closer. She seems to recall it working without much force, but perhaps she was mistaken as to the process.
