Working late at night on #DungeonsAndDragons stuff, and stumbled onto my most hated mechanic, #CoupDeGrace! Seriously, my first #DMSession my players coup de grace my first boss, and ever since then I never had this mechanic in my games. Its not in 5th edition, but as Im looking back at 3.5 and 4th to see what I can convert, and I see this! Not many played 4th edition, but they did implement some good things, one being the bloodied system, and one being nerfed coup de grace!
