Wow! I was just organizing my music & I came across this from when X, Johnny & I worked at The JackHammer Complex together! That is actually x-mas Johnny on the Promo CD given to me (actually Johnny L'Heureux) from DJ Kevin Bernal! I miss working those Monday nights at Jackhammer! So much great fun music from back then ❤️! The old original patio bar out back before the bar was remodeled. I remember Woodrow B. Giffey, Chris Boden, Johnny LHereux, Jackie-o, to name a few that tended bar at that great patio out back! Soo many great memories! I’m listening to these cds now, they are timeless! I wonder what happened to my other Monday night DJ, Eric Hernandez? I know he also used to spin music at both Jackhammer & @mosphere Bar? FlashBack, this was from 2003, when I tended bar at JackHammer on Mondays & on the weekend, Fri. & Sat. I worked at Touche Chicago! I am the only employee to have worked at both JackHammer & Touche Chicago at the same time! I also began the early part of my career (in my early 20s), spinning records at the Old Touche On Lincoln Ave, that burnt down while Chuck Rodocker was on vacation! Fortunately the fire happened when the bar was closed! Poor Chuck received a phone call on his vacation that his bar burnt to the ground! It was suspect that something electrical happened on 3rd floor & that is also the warehouse where the liquor was stored! Once the fire breached the liquor room the establishment was a total loss which is why Touche is now located North on Clark St. These are numbered: 58/200.
