To the neurodivergent Christians out there:
God loves you as you are. Exactly as you are. The parts of you that are different from others are parts of you that He created and loves dearly.
God is big enough for your questions. You can ask why. You can wrestle with concepts. You have not failed Him by wondering.
If you feel like an outcast at church, know that God stands on the fringe beside you. You are not alone. He wants you more than anything.
As much as I loved the juxtaposition at the beginning where the captive princess turned out to be Guinevere, I think that, in a way, Olivia is the captive princess, too. If anything, those two are foils. They were both dreams of the same man, and have both been tasked with perpetuating this magic. I doubt Olivia could get very far out of his control. She and Guinevere were both means to an end for him. I think that Olivia's obsession with "fixing" Gwen may or may not stem from the fact that she sees herself in the princess, and maybe, some day, someone will come along to fix Olivia, too. They are literary mirrors, not foils. They are both the princess. They are both the machine. They are both full of blood and fear.
Something about how the first ever opera was about Orpheus and Eurydice. Something about how their love story has been told by human beings for centuries. Something about despite the fact that it ends in tragedy, we tell the story over and over again, and through our telling, they are always falling in love with each other. Though they always end the story apart, because we keep telling the story, they are never apart for long.
Working in retail is crazy because I'm talking in my Bright Customer Service Voice and smiling like my life depends on it all while internally the hate monologue from I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream is blaring on a loop the entire time

I need to know. I need to. Is there a custody battle over the balls. Are the balls being asked which dad they'd rather be with as we speak. I need to know about the state of the balls.
